Momirovic: We defeated inflation, retail prices are starting to fall

Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic said that we have defeated inflation and that prices are starting to fall, according to the ministry's official website.

- For the past year, we have been fighting a bitter battle with high inflation imported from Eastern Europe, and today I can freely say that we have won that battle. The trend of price growth has stopped and prices are slowly starting to fall - said Momirovic.

As he added, today we can discuss the fact that the trend of price growth has stopped and that "prices are slowly starting to fall, best seen in a large number of actions in supermarkets", as well as that this trend will soon remain permanent.

- For the past ten years, for the first time in the history of our country, we have had a stable dinar exchange rate, we have reduced unemployment to below 10%, we have an impressive growth in wages and pensions - the minister pointed out.
