According to Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic, these companies received EUR 4,000 from the Ministry of Economy's investment and employment promotion programme for each newly created job.
Trilord will invest these funds in the construction of its second production hall, equipping of the production plant and acquisition of a new equipment, and it will also employ 60 new workers through this programme. The total value of the investment is EUR 647,000.
The company Montegi will build and equip a new clothing production plant in Svrljig and employ 60 people from that municipality. The value of the investment is EUR 635,000.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Regional Development Verica Kalanovic said that the programme of investment subsidies, administrated by SIEPA, would enable "the revival of Svrljig, which is among the most underdeveloped municipalities and has the unemployment rate of 24.8 percent".
"The Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Economy continue to fight for each newly created job and for every investor, and such policy is the only way to provide an opportunity for people to work in the place they were born in and live from their own work", she said.
