Donation of 265.000 dinars to the children in Zvecanska

Representatives of Trade department of Austrian embassy in Belgrade gave today in the name of several Austrian companies a donation to the Center for protection of newborns, children and youth in Zvecanska in the value of 265.000 dinars.
Trade advisor Herbert Preclik explained that the means were raised at the "Vienna Christmas bazaar" which was held in Knez Mihajlova street in Belgrade, from January 4-6th, 2006.
On this occassion several companies from Austria, which have invested in Serbia, organized Austrian traditional Christmas stands in form of wooden houses, where it was sold cooked wine, and all profit was signed for charity, said Mr Preclik.
Preclik announced that a similar manifestation will be held also next year, and all profit made will be asigned to some social facility.
Thanking to this help, director of the Center Zoran Milacic, pointed that every donation is helpfull to improve conditions in which these children without parents live.
According to his words, in six objects of the Center in Belgrade, there are 638 children at the moment of all ages, and the total amount of donations, mostly in goods, during the last year was around 15 millions dinars.
Among Austrian companies which helped raising funds for children from Zvecanka are also Reifeisen bank, Hypo alpe adria bank, OMV, Porsche SCG, Fest Alpine.
