Vojo Miletic, director of the company VB Leasing, announced that the newest measures of the National Bank of Serbia are directed in stopping credit fever which burden the business of leasing companies and their clients.

-NBS measures are mostly directed in limiting purchase of passanger's vehicles on leasing, considering that the clients will have to give 20% of deposit in order to buy a car, and their incomes should not be burdened more than 30%. Besides that we are no longer in opportunity to accept family incomes including part-time jobs, which gives away the opportunity for many citizens to buy on leasing - pointed Miletic.

According to the words of Dragan Loncar, chief of sale of VB Leasing, from the start of the year sale of cars on leasing has practically frozen. "NBS came out with new measures without previousley consulting leasing houses, so it means there is a lot of undefined. According to new conditions of business, treatment of law and physical persons is equaled, and conditions of bank classical credits were brought to a better position compairing with leasing companies, because there is no tax on given value. The problem is that registration expanses of vehicles bought through leasing are much larger than when the deal is made through banking credits, because the tariff of the companies is accounted, pointed Loncar.

VB Leasing has made 1.700 contract in the last year, while 68.48% are for motor vehicles, and 20% is leasing of transport sector and construction machines, while 11% is on leasing of motor equipment.
