Seven offers for revitalization of HE "Ovcar spa" and HE "Medjuvrsje" - 9.3 millions EUR

After a one month of delay, in Cacak on February, 28th, were opened offers for revitalization of HE "Ovcar spa" and HE "Medjuvrsje". Tender documentation was gathered by 16 companies out of which 7 concrete offers were made for realization fo these works.

Equipment which would be purchased for revitalization of electrical stations is split into 3 groups. In the first group are turbine equipment and generator, in the second complete electric equipment, and in the third management and protection. Works on revitalization of these electric stations will start in 2007.

This significant investment, as it is a matter of very old hydro electrical stations will cost 9.3 millions EUR. It is planned that after the finished revitalization, the power should be increased between10-20%. To this plan it is ajusted this years remony because of which the works on these stations in the year 2006 were not planned.
