One Step Closer to Construction of Kraljevo-Novi Pazar Fast Route – Environmental Impact Assessment in Progress

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia has adopted the decision on the preparation of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment for the spatial plan of the special-purpose area of the infrastructure corridor of the IB-grade fast route Kraljevo-Raska-Novi Pazar.

The strategic assessment is done for the area of the spatial plan which covers parts of the territories of the cities of Kraljevo and Novi Pazar, as well as a part of the municipality of Raska.

In the territory of the city of Kraljevo, it encompasses the entire cadastral municipalities: Tadenje, Bare, Usce, Cerje, Polumir, Adrani, Mrsac, Drakcici, Jarcujak, Musina reka, Vrdila, Konarevo, Brezna, Bresnik, Maglic, Zamcanje, Bogutovac, Mataruge, Progorelica and Popovici.

In the territory of the city of Novi Pazar, it encompasses the entire cadastral municipalities: Pozezina, Batnjik, Postenje and Koprivnica.

In the territory of the municipality of Raska, it encompasses the entire cadastral municipalities: Nosoljin, Milatkovice, Varevo, Panojevice, Beoci, Rvati, Kucane, Raska, Supnje, Zutice, Pavlica, Draganici, Korlace, Piskanja, Biljanovac, Baljevac, Pobrdje and Bela Stena.

The deadline for the preparation of the strategic assessment is 12 months, and the funds for the preparation are secured by the PE Roads of Serbia.
