Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac Gets Accreditation for Studies in English

The Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Kragujevac has obtained authorization for the accreditation of the study program Integrated Academic Medical Studies in Serbian and English from the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education, as announced on the website of the City of Kragujevac.

– The Faculty of Medical Sciences has received authorization from the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education for the enrollment of 147 students for the coming academic year, of which 88 will study in Serbian, 59 in English. The entire process will involve 250 professors and associate professors with adequate qualifications. The biggest interest comes from students from India and Iran – said the dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, professor Dr. Vladimir Jakovljevic.

– The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kragujevac is for a long number of years well-ranked on the Shanghai list of the most prestigious faculties in the world, and it has justified it with the successful accreditation of bilingual studies. The fact that foreign students will choose your faculty and ours as the place to get higher education will be helped by Kragujevac in every possible way by being a good host, preserving the reputation of the regional center. Also, in a wider, European, context, it will join the company of European university centers – said the mayor of Kragujevac, Nikola Dasic.
