Settlement Vreoci with 1000 households to be relocated due to expansion of coal mine "Kolubara", procurement - €200m

Old mining settlement Vreoci will soon be relocated on some of the locations between Lazarevac and Belgrade. There are about 1,000 households in this small town and all of them will be procured in order to enable commencement of lignite exploitation (it is estimated that there are at least 400,000 tons of lignite underneath Vreoci), which is necessary for maintenance of electricity production in steam power plants ``Kolubara`` and ``Nikola Tesla``.

Total expense for procurement of entire property of inhabitants of Vreoci amounts to about €200m, which Electric Power Company of Serbia considers acceptable concerning the fact that the price fits in the calculation that every cubic meter of lignite from this area would cost less than €1.
