Chinese Shandong Looking For Contractors for Construction of Retaining Walls on Danube Corridor

The Chinese company Shandong, which is building the Danube Corridor, has published the tender for the construction of retaining walls on this fast route of 68 km which will connect Pozarevac, Golubac and Veliko Gradiste with Corridor 10.

The procurement is split into three lots – the first one pertains to the pouring of a retaining wall and the construction of a gabion retaining wall on the first section of the road, the second encompasses the installation of 9 sections of a pile foundation retaining wall and the pouring of 2 sections of a retaining wall, and the third lot pertains to the installation of 7 sections of a gabion retaining wall.

The total construction volume is 400.68 m3 for pouring, 8677.71 m3 for gabion, and 11794.00 m for pile foundation.


As said, the construction period of this project is 12 months.

Let us remind that the works on the construction of the Danube Corridor began in November 2021, and the completion deadline is mid-2025.
