Radomir Naumov, minister of mining and energetics of Serbia announced - central celebration of Nikola Tesla's birth - July, 10th


In one part of the experts public was initiated that the posthumous remains of Nikola Tesla which are in the urn at Nikola Tesla Museum be buried in the port of Sain Sava Temple in Belgrade. In this way a proper acknowledgement would be given to the world famous scientist whose few inventions represent significant reach in the heritage of todays civilization - said Radomir Naumov, minister of mining and energetics of Serbia.
Naumov stressed that so far it was just an idea and that he didn't expect that it could bring to any diplomatic dispute with Croatia, on whose territory the great scientist was born.
He pointed out that the Government of Serbia formed a Board for celebration of 150 years from the birth of Nikola Tesla, on whose head is the president of the Givernment of Serbia, Vojislav Kostunica and that the central manifestation on the occassion of this great event would be held on July, 10th, on the day of Tesla's birth.
To the anniversary celebration of Nikola Tesla's birth, also the Thermal electrical station Nikola Tesla will participate by organizing a manifestation on March, 7th, in the National Theatre in Belgrade, which will also be a celebration of 36 years of existance of TES NT.
In Ocotber, as a part of republican program for celebration of 150 years from the birth of Nikola Tesla, there will be a big scientist gathering on which will participate important guests from abroad, and it is also in plan to issue bills with Tesla's character, as well as numerous publications dedicated to the famous scientist.
