Second Tube in Laz Tunnel on Milos Veliki Highway Section from Pakovrace to Pozega Bored Through

The second tube in the Laz Tunnel on the Milos Veliki highway from Pakovrace to Pozega has been bored through. This was announced by the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure, Goran Vesic, on his official Instagram profile.

Let us remind that, as the PE Roads of Serbia announced on its official YouTube channel, the right tube was bored through in late March, and Vesic informed the public about it back on March 10 on his Twitter account.

What’s characteristic of this section is that it passes through a geographically very demanding terrain, which requires the construction of numerous bridges and tunnels. The construction of this section will shorten the travel time between Cacak and Pozega from the current 45 minutes to 20 minutes.

Tunel "Laz" je deo auto-puta E-763, na deonici Preljina - Požega, i sastoji se od dve tunelske cevi. Dugačak je 2.843 metara (leva cev) i 2.662 metara (desna cev). Širina tunela je 12 metara, sa dve saobraćajne trake, zaustavnom trakom i pešačkim stazama. Tehnički je projektovan sa dve odvojene tunelske cevi, za svaki smer po jedna.

Širina: Tunel je širok 12 metara.
Broj traka: Ima dve saobraćajne trake.
