Tehnogas' revenue hits record high - Profit worth nearly EUR 10 million

Belgrade-based technical gas manufacturer and distributor Tehnogas, which operates for more than ten years under the control of the multinational company Messer from Germany, has announced its business results for the year 2010, in which it registered a record business revenue and turned a significantly higher profit.

Tehnogas reported the business revenue of RSD 4.88 billion, 20.5% higher than one year earlier, while the business profit amounted to RSD 1.14 billion and was 43.7% higher than in 2009. The net profit was insignificantly smaller since the company did not have large financial expenditures last year and it reached RSD 991.9 million (33.9% higher than in 2009).

The majority owner of Tehnogas is Messer, with the stake of 81.9% in the company, while the biggest minority shareholder is Croatia's ZB Invest with 4% of shares in its possession. In spite of the fact that it is not a member of the index basket Belex15 as of today, Tehnogas has registered an excellent turnover in the amount of RSD 16.4 million at the level of RSD 7,000 per share.

With that price, the market capitalization of this company amounts to RSD 7.26 billion (70.2 million euros).
