Cigarette dealer "Mega tabak" to buy pharmaceutical company "Srbolek" ?

Cigarette dealer "Mega tabak" wants to buy "Srbolek", the oldest pharmaceutical company in Serbia. Securities Commission verified the offer of "Mega tabak" on March 4, 2005. Other potential buyers can send their offers until March 25.

"Srbolek" entered privatization according to old Law and 67.49% of assets is owned by minor stockholders, whereas the remaining part is property of Share Fund. "Mega tabak" wished to buy at least 46% of stocks of "Srbolek". This company did not mention what is the maximum quantity it would purchase, but it offered price of 485 CSD per stock, which is the amount of bookkeeping value from 2003, whereas entire capital is worth €5.7m.
