Banini becomes leader in waffle biscuit market - Exports in 2010 reached EUR 3.3 million

As people at Kikinda-based confectioner Banini announced, that company ranks first in the category of waffle biscuit manufacturers in Serbia with the market share of 27%, almost 9% bigger than the share of the second-ranked confectioner.
In the category of biscuits, Banini ranks fourth with the market share of 13.2%, while the sandwich biscuit Noblice is the best-selling product in the category of filled biscuits in Serbia, with the market share of 30.2%.
Domacica biscuit has the same status in the category of tea biscuits with coating and it's market share amounts to 16.8%. When it comes to cream products, Banini's Tango ranks third in overall consumption - 5,500-6,000 tonnes, and has the market share of 11.5%. Salty snacks made by this company rank third and have the market share of 9.9%.
Banini announced that it had doubled production capacities by putting in operation a new plant in 2010 so that the company can now produce 40,000 tonnes of sweet and salty snacks per year on ten production lines. The company registered a EUR 3.3 million revenue from exports in 2010.
