Montenegro adopts Foreign Investment Law

The Parliament of Montenegro promulgated the Foreign Investment Law yesterday.

According to the new law, those who have a stake of minimum 10% in a business organization in Montenegro can have the status of an investor.

A foreign investor can acquire a stake in the company that is already registered in Montenegro, buy a business organization, or implement an investment on the basis of a contract on concession, management, franchising, financial leasing, or real estate purchase.
