Slovenian magazine Finance writes that a member of Supervisory Board of Mercator, Gorazd Čuk, stayed in Belgrade yesterday and negotiated with the representatives of Delta about takeover of Delta holding. Citing Croatian information, Finance writes that Mercator prepared all documentation required for uniting with Delta. Portal biznis.hr announces that it seems that it was confirmed that Agrokor’s solo entrance to Serbia means that it is eliminated, either by its will or not, from the idea about regional merging of Slovenian Mercator and Serbia Delta.

It was confirmed to the Croatian portal that Agrokor, almost secretly, started construction of its biggest trade center in Novi Beograd last week. In the first phase, the trade center will occupy surface of 12,500 square meters and it will have 600 parking places. Total investment, not including the price of the land and the equpment for the facility, amounts to €8m.
