Agrovojvodina-Mehanizacija's partner - YTO-Group from China, has taken over McCormick's transmission plant in France. YTO plans to make the McCormick plant and Novi Sad-based Agrovojvodina-Mehanizacija, in which the assembling of YTO tractors started last year, the skeleton of YTO Group's business activities in Europe.
Agrovojvodina-Mehanizacija may soon start assembling "machines" with one of the most modern transmission systems in the market.
Agrovojvodina-Mehanizacija's partner YTO annually produces over 160,000 tractors, while the company in Novi Sad assembles only the models with 45 horse powers for the markets of Serbia and neighboring countries, but it also prepares models that should be homologized for the EU market.
- Such tractor, which will be produced in Novi Sad, should be presented at European trade fairs of agricultural machines until autumn at the latest - people at Agrovojvodina point out.
Over 200 ITO-454 tractors with 45 HP have already been assembled in Novi Sad and found their way to cultivated fields. Between 2 and 3 tractors come off the assembly line every day.
The company in Novi Sad plans to increase the production of tractors to 1,000 a year over the next two years, but these plans may be fulfilled even sooner since the demand is high, especially in surrounding countries.
