The Republic Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services, Bojan Dimitrijević, opened the renovated warehouse of the Republic Directorate for Stock Reserves for Oil and Oil Derivatives in Požega, the overhaul of which cost about €3m.

The warehouse for oil derivatives in Požega, with 9 reservoirs with capacity of 37.5m liters, was destroyed during the NATO bombing in 1999, and in the first phase of its reconstruction, three reservoirs, with a capacity of 12.75m l, were put into operation.

The warehouse was reconstructed based on EU standards, and in addition to the reservoirs, a new reception station was built, the railroad car parking lot was reconstructed, a new scale was installed, the oil and lubricant warehouse was adapted and the general cargo warehouse was renovated.

The warehouse in Požega, according to the words of Dimitrijević, is extremely important for the citizens of the Zlatibor, Moravica and Raška regions, as well as for "Jugopetrol", which is its user.

Works on the reconstruction of that building, financed by the Republic Directorate for Stock Reserves, were carried out by the workers of the company “Ratko Mitrović”, from Požega, Užice’s “Jedinstvo” and the railroad car factory from Kraljevo.
