Batiqoc opens EUR 2 million factory of roof structures in Niš - French company employ 80 workers


French manufacturer of roof structures Batiqoc opened today in Nis, with the support of its business partners Batiroc and Axe metal, it's new production plant, in which 2 million euros were invested in the first phase.
The production plant of the French company, situated in the hall of the company MIN Specijalna Vozila, was ceremoniously put in operation by NIs Mayor Milos Simonovic, reads the statement issued by the Mayor's Cabinet.The company Batiqoc produces roof structures and it is going to employ 80 people at its new plant. The starting value of this investment is EUR 2 million and it is expected to grow much bigger after the production development.
Batiqoc's products will be exported to the EU countries and Russia, while the company also negotiates on the export of products to the markets of the Balkans and Africa. Complete material for the production of roof structures will be procured in Serbia.
Loran Lardo, one of the company's owners, pointed out that the key reason for that investment in Nis was the fact that the city of Nis had proved to be a very good business environment that can satisfy the needs of investors.
Nis Mayor Milos Simonovic said that the opening of the plant within the Machine Industry Nis (MIN) was a good sign on the path toward employment of existing capacities and he expressed a hope that that investment would be one more in the series of positive investment projects in Nis in the year when that city had become a synonym for favorable business environment and the city with the largest number of direct investments.
