Business Forum on Kopaonik - March 1-3

The Business Forum on Kopaonik mountain will be held between March 1 and 3 and it will be attended by the representatives of the Government of Serbia, economists and businessmen who will be considering new models of economic growth, development and sustainable reforms, the organizers announced.

According to the statements issued by the Serbian Association of Economists and the Serbian Association of Corporate Directors, the meeting will be attended by Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, Finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic, and Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Dejan Soskic.

It has also been announced that former Minister of Economy Mladjan Dinkic will take part in the meeting, as well as Head of EU Delegation to Serbia Vincent Degert, ambassadors of the USA, Germany, Switzerland, heads of the offices of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Serbia, and leading domestic and foreign businessmen in Serbia.

Discussion topics at the meeting will include: monetary and fiscal policies in Serbia, Serbia's prospects in Europe, expectations of domestic and foreign businessmen from the Government of Serbia, and risks and challenges of the new economic model.

Participants in the three-day meeting will also be discussing the issues of regulatory risk, possible investment priorities in the public sector, regional development, and the role of insurance companies in that process.

As the organizers stated, this year's event is organize with the aim of presenting the essence of the Government's proposal to economists and businessmen and "giving useful advices to architects from the viewpoint of economic practitioners".
