Opening of Prokop Railroad Station Announced for October 20

The Prokop Railroad Station should open on October 20, the Belgrade Liberation Day, stated the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

In a video message on his Instagram profile, he said that it was “tens of thousands of square meters of new space, fantastically equipped for a modern Belgrade, for a modern Serbia,” which should contribute to Serbia finally going back to rail transport and the best trains.

He visited the construction site at Prokop with the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, following which he wrote that he was happy that “the works at Prokop, at the main Belgrade railroad station, are progressing.”
