OPEC Keeps Oil Quotas

The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) confirmed the agreements on the production of oil reached at a meeting held in January and gave no recommendation to change the policy of the OPEC, according to the press release published on the website of that organization.

The next meeting of the JMMC is scheduled for April 3, 2023.

The JMMC of the OPEC held the meeting in the form of a video conference in order to consider the current situation in the oil market an discuss further plans for the production of that energy source.
