Part of Love Island in Croatia up for Sale

An extraordinary piece of land has been put up for sale in Croatian ads. For EUR 10 million, you can buy a part of the Galesnjak island, better known as the Love Island.

– The heart-shaped island which has 142,000 m2, of which a part of slightly over 30,000 m2 is up for sale, in one piece and spreading on over 500 meters of the coastline. With this property, you can create something truly unique, especially when yachts with guests such as Beyonce, Jay Z, Jeff Bezos, Michael Jordan, are constantly docked there – the ad says.

The information about the sale has also been confirmed by the sales representative Silvestro Kardum.

– It is true, three hectares of the island have been put up for sale. There is a great interest, and the most serious interest has been shown by some investment funds – Kardum emphasized for Zadarski List.

– I don’t have a real estate agency, I am only helping the owners with the sale. These are four connected parcels belonging to several owners, with a total around of around 32 to 33 thousand m2. Maquis grows on that land, and olives used to grow there. All the ownership papers are regular and the owners are registered. The owners, by the way, come from Mrljane on the Pasman island. The owners of the remaining part of the island are not interested in selling their property – he adds.

As he says, according to the current law, the opening of an agricultural property is allowed on such land.

– For the growing of olives or grapevine, a villa or a restaurant of 400 m2, as well as an additional 1,000 m2 of cellar space. So, an investment can certainly pay off – he emphasizes.

This is one of the most famous islands in Croatia. In 2019, Brightside included it on its list of 20 world wonders.
