The Privatization Agency has announced a public call for the sale of a 92.87% stake in the pharmaceutical company Jugoremedija, which are currently in the possession of the state and minor shareholders, at the minimum price of EUR 51.9 million (EUR 15 per share).
All manufacturers of pharmaceutical products who have continuously been in that business over the last five years and registered a business revenue of minimum EUR 30 million in the last business year are free to bid on the tender if they buy the tender documentation.
The tender documentation will be available to all interested parties as of February 18, while written requests for its procurement must be filed prior to April 1 at the latest. The deadline for submission of binding offers for the acquisition of a 92.87% stake in this company is April 22. In order to be able to submit a bid, each bidder must pay the deposit or submit an auction guarantee in the amount of EUR 1 million.
Jugoremedija became known to the general public for the disputable privatization and termination of the privatization contract with the initial buyer - Macedonian company Jaka 80, owned by Jovica Stefanovic Nini - and it has been run by the trade union of workers over the last few years.
