Continental Automotive is to continue building the production complex for the production of electronic parts in Kac, and the second phase is presented in the urban project that the PE Urbanizam Novi Sad prepared.

The location of the planned complex is on the old tall coast of the Danube, parcel 4476, and its area is 29.37 ha.

The approximate dimensions of the complex are 815 m x 470 m.

In the second phase of the expansion of the existing complex, the plan is to build a facility for the production and assembly of electronic and other car parts. The expanded complex will consist of production, administrative-production and auxiliary facilities which are in their function.

The expansion is planned through four phases:

1. Phase EP1: a production facility for car parts – “clean rooms”, built as an extension along the east side of the existing facility, with accompanying side facilities;

2. Phase EP2: a self-standing production facility (the production of car parts in casts and the painting of parts) with an administrative unit and a smaller warehouse, west of the existing facility, with accompanying side facilities;

3. Phase EP3: a production facility (the production of electronic car parts) with an administrative unit, built as an extension along the north side of the existing facility, with accompanying side facilities;

4. Phase EP4: a smaller extension on the south side of the existing production facility in the form of a block of auxiliary rooms.

In the second phase of the expansion of the complex, the built traffic infrastructure from the first phase is to be extended and partially reconstructed: parking spaces, bus stops, temporary and permanent fire-protection traffic routes.

The preliminary design was prepared by NORTH Engineering d.o.o. Subotica.
