Slovenian Ecology Day held in Belgrade, organizers - Slovenian Business Club and company Esotech Velenje

On February 9, 2006, in Belgrade, in hotel Intercontinental, very interesting meeting named »Slovenian Ecology Day« was held. The hosts were Slovenian Business Club and Stock Company Esotech Velenje (www.esotech.si) , the company for elaboration and implementation of projects in field of ecology and energy (leading partner of Slovenian Ecology Cluster GIZ-SEG)

The meeting was good opportunity for presentation of Slovenian companies and institutions, which operate in field of ecology and energy, with the ambition for finding model for collaboration with Serbian companies and institutions.

Through the promotive meeting and round tables on ecology and economy, energy and waste management, very interesting solutions and ideas for cooperations were represented. How interesting was the meeting can be seen from its PROGRAM, which was completely realized.

On the same day, in the scope of monthly meeting of Slovenian Business Club, several very interesting presentations were held.

Mr. Radomir Naumov, Minister of Mining and Energy of Republic of Serbia, presented the present situation and opportunities for cooperation with Republic of Slovenia in field of energy.

Mrs. Andrija Starina Kosem, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Slovenia, spoke about organization of business environment in field of energy in Slovenia, as well as about opportunities for cooperation between two countries in this field.

Jože Zagožen, general manager of Holding of Slovenian Power Plants (HSE), explained development interest of HSE in Western Balkans and great interest in investment and cooperation on this territory.

During the exceptional PREZENTACIJE of the company and cluster, general manager of Stock Company Esotech, Zofija Mazej Kukovič, MBA, a partner of Slovenian Ecology Cluster GIZ-SEG, announced her permanent presence in Serbia.
