Milan Nicetin, the Bankruptcy Manager of Zrenjanin-based Gvozdjar, has announced a new round of sale of the property of once one of the leading market chains in central Banat.
A public auction is scheduled for Friday, February 18. Potential buyers will this time be offered five warehouses at the total starting price of RSD 17.5 million. The money collected in this way will again be used to repay the debts to creditors.
At previous public auctions, interested potential buyers were offered several facilities and warehouses in Zrenjanin and neighboring villages. In early January 2010, stores in Muzlja, Perlez, Klek and Tomasevac were sold, as well as a storage space in Ecka, while an office space in Obala Sonje Marinkovic street in Zrenjanin is on the list for one of the future auctions.
When asked if the dispute about the administrative building of Gvozdjar, which is situated in the city center and is estimated to be the company's most valuable property, has finally been resolved, Mr. Nicetin gave a negative answer. He stressed that the procedure is still underway and expressed a hope that it would be finished soon.
