"Strabag" first on list of potential buyers of "Putevi Čačak"

The Privatization Agency has announced that the tender commission unanimously approved results of the tender for procurement of company "Putevi Čačak" and proclaimed company "Strabag AG" from Austria the first-ranked bidder.

"Strabag" offered 4m and 75,000 EUR for 70% of public capital, along with the investment program worth 2m EUR and unconditional acceptance of all minimal obligations from the social program.

After the announcement of the tender list, the Privatization Agency and "Strabag" starts period of negotiations about definition of details from the sales contract. If the negotiations are successfully ended, the Agency will sign the contract on sale of the capital with the buyer within 30 days from the start of the negotiations.

Consortium made of companies "Putevi Užice", "Novi Pazar-Put", "Granit Peščar" and "Putevi Kipar" is second-ranked, company "Betonut Zrt." from Hungary is the third, whereas company "Alpine Mayreder" Bau GmbH from Austria is the fourth.
