International Forum on Future of Humanity Influenced by Artificial Intelligence – EMERGE 2022 from December 16 to 18 in Belgrade

The Digital Society Lab of the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, in cooperation with the University of Vienna and the American University of Paris, is organizing the EMERGE 2022 conference, which will gather 100 most important actors in the tech industry, policy creators and academic researchers in Belgrade from December 16 to 18 to discuss the social and economic impact of new technologies.

EMERGE 2022 consists of 6 panels, 8 sessions, 12 speeches and 33 scientific presentations within the EMREGE Forum on the future of humanity guided by artificial intelligence and the International Science Conference on the Digital Society Now, announced the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade.

The topics that will be discussed at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory and Dorcol Platz, with online streaming, are AI Technologies, Creativity in a Digital Society, Virtual Reality in Theoretical Perspectives, Journalism and New Technologies, The Metaverse and others.

Within the conference, the Belgrade Digital Freedom Pledge declaration will be signed by the members of the international actors and the regional AI ecosystem, thereby initiating global discussion about recommendation systems as a public good and the virtual identity as a human right, says the memo from the Institute.

It is also said that, during the program of the conference, a unique exhibition of AI generated art based on 33 scientific works will open at the Neon Gallery on December 17.
