Bulgarian bank FIB to take over MB bank from Niš

A member of the Administrative Board and the Executive Director of the First Investment Bank from Bulgaria (FIB), Jonathan Henry Martin Harfield, stated that that bank had signed a contract on the additional capitalization of MB bank from Niš in amount of €15m.

Their goal is to capitalize at least 75% plus one stock, or up to 100% minus one stock of MB bank from Niš.

In addition to the numerous awards and certificates this bank won during the past years, FIB is also the biggest bank owned by Bulgaria and it has over 450,000 private and corporate clients, as well as the network of 100 branches in Bulgaria.

That bank is the sixth in size of assets in Bulgarian market with 1.2 billion EUR, it is the fourth biggest lender to the corporate clients in Bulgaria, the "main player" on the debit card market, the owner of Diners Club in Bulgaria and the leading bank for financial transactions in foreign trade.
