Slovenian Labod in Rekovac - Expansion of production at Leona-tex

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Mladjan Dinkic will sign an agreement on expansion of the production with the company Leona-tex from Rekovac, the Ministry of Economy announced.

A total value of the investment is EUR 803,000, which will be spent on procurement of facilities and new equipment for the needs of expansion of the production.

The production expansion will lead to creation of 82 new jobs in that municipality where the unemployment rate currently amounts to about 35%.

Through the Ministry of Economy's Programme for allotment of funds for stimulating investments, Leona-tex has received EUR 7,000 per each newly employed worker, reads the statement.
