The Ministry of Mining and Energy sent the request to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism for increase in price of gasoline due to increase in price of crude oil on the world market by 5.3%. After the change of prices of primary oil derivatives, the price of one liter of gasoline on the gas stations should go up by 3 CSD at average. However, we should wait for the decision of the Ministry of Finance whose approval can result in change of price. Last year, the Ministry of Finance refused to approve increase in prices on several occasions, although the conditions for change of prices were met.

Company Petrobart-AVIA claims that the conditions for change of prices were met on January 4, but the Government of Serbia ignored the Regulation on prices of oil derivatives. Petrobart points out that it lost about 2.8 million CSD, in period between January 4 and 22, on export and processing of crude oil, i.e. sale of produced derivatives.
