Nikola Tesla Airport - Fifth company on listing A of Belgrade Stock Exchange

The Belgrade Stock Exchange has got the fifth company on the listing A - Prime Market, and that is the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, reads the statement on the website of the Serbian capital market (www.belex.rs).
The shares of Airport were entered into the Central Registry on January 25 as part of the preparations of this issuer for commencement of stock exchange trading.
Nikola Tesla Airport, similar to NIS, has millions of shareholders, while its majority owner is the Republic of Serbia with a 83.15% stake. The Share Fund owns 0.08% of shares of that company, while 1.8% of shares are in the possession of its employees and former employees. The citizens of Serbia possess a total of 15% of shares and they will get 1 piece of these securities each. The airport is one of six public companies whose shares were initially planned to be distributed among citizens for free. The company achieves quite good business results, primarily due to its monopoly position.
In 2009, Nikola Tesla Airport registered a business revenue of RSD 4.6 billion and a net profit of RSD 1.7 billion. It is expected that the starting price of these shares should be RSD 600, which means that the company's market value will be RSD 20.6 billion (EUR 196.7 million).The companies whose shares have already admitted to the listing A are: the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), Komercijalna Banka, Sojaprotein, and Pirot-based Tigar.
