KOTOR – Ferries are done for, construction of bridge

The ferries in Montenegro are done for. The Directorate for Construction of Highways of Montenegro has announced open competition for strategic partner for construction of bridge 976 meters long, which will connect Opatovo, on Tivat’s side of the bay, and Sveta Nedelja (St. Sunday) Cape, on Herceg Novi’s side.

Asphalted road will be 22 m wide and it will be divided into four lanes, which will contribute to creation of undisturbed traffic flow. There will also be 2.5 km of access roads, the arcs will be 55 meters high and the bridge will make it possible for transoceanic liners to enter Bay of Kotor.
