Born in Belgrade on November 25, 1952. She finished the primary and high school in Belgrade. She graduated from the School of Law of Sarajevo.
She is an attorney-at-law. She was employed with the Federal Executive Council for 14 years, and she has had the attorney’s at law practice for 8 years.
From 1996 to 2000, she was a member of the Executive Board of the Zvezdara Municipal Assembly (Zajedno /Together/ Coalition). As of October 2000, she was a member of the Executive Board of the City of Belgrade Assembly in charge of property-right, building land and information affairs. At the same time, she was the Acting Director of the Studio B Public Broadcasting Enterprise for 7 months. From June 2001 to November 2004, she was the Chairwoman of the City of Belgrade Assembly.
She was a member of the Reform Party of Yugoslavia and Civic Alliance of Serbia as of its founding. In October 2004, she quitted her membership in the Civic Alliance of Serbia. She is one of founders of the Women Political Network of Serbia in February 2000.
She is married, and a mother to two sons of age.
