Jovanovic: 95,000 Workers Employed in ICT Sector

In the sector of information-communications technology, a total of 95,500 workers are employed, whereas, in 2016, that number amounted to 55,000, said the minister of information and telecommunications of Serbia, Mihailo Jovanovic, while visiting the Job Fair 2022, the show’s 18th edition, which is held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

According to him, the ICT sector is the future of the modern labor sector, as also shown by the fact that the quota for the enrollment at technical faculties has increased 20%, according to the government’s official website.

After visiting the exhibitors, together with the dean of the Faculty of Electrical Energy, Dejan Gvozdic, the minister said that, by finding a suitable practice at the fair, students would pave their way to the future employment.
