New tender for allotment of land for construction of ski-center Tornik, rental on - 50 years

Manager of Public company "Srbijašume", Ješa Erčić, has confirmed that that company announced the new tender for rental of land for construction of cki-center Tornik on Zlatibor mountain.

Erčić said that the tender had been announced for selection of land renter on period of 50 years. After expiration of rental, the investor will still remain the owner of the built facilities, which is much better offer than the first, unsucessful tender, according to which the rental period amounts to 20 years and the owner stays without built facilities.

According to his words, "Srbijašume”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, will stimulate revitalization of ski centers on Zlatibor mountain, in Valjevo, Knjaževac and Majdanpek, but sticking to the perfectly clear rules and taken obligations.

"Srbijašume" will collect payment for the land, whereas the task of the local self-management is to find investor who will have the facilities built on the basis of the existing Spatial Plan of Serbia, as well as the regulation and land-utilization plans of that area.
