– A major electricity price increase is out of the question, we don’t want to chase the investors away. Both the citizens and the investors will still have the lowest price of electricity – he said on TV Pink.
Vucic said that Serbia therefore set aside huge sums for energy, but also that all the systems had been stabilized.
– There could be malfunctions, but I believe that if we preserve the peace and stability in Kosovo and Metohija, we will survive the winter more easily than others – Vucic said.
He also said that the gold reserves had increased from 14 tons in 2012 to 38 tons at that moment, whereas the net FX reserves had increased 2.5 times in the same period and that everything that had been spent at the beginning of the year had been compensated for.
He added that the budget revenues had increased, but that the energy expenditures were huge.
On the Hit Tvit show, Vucic said that the inflow of foreign direct investments in the first 10 months was EUR 3.462 billion, around 7% more than the previous year.
– The average public debt rate is 94.2%, and Serbia is nearly 40 index percentages above the European average – he added.
