Third “Kondiva’s” factory in Žbevac - €3m

Installation of equipment for the third “Kondiva’s” factory in Žbevac, the village near Bujanovac, has started. Žbevac will become one of rare villages in Serbia, and, definitely, unique in the south of Serbia, with its own industrial zone. Factory of chocolate products is under the same roof as “Kondiva’s” unit for production of candies and caramels and it represents investment worth about €3m. It will be using Italian technology, the machines of world-renowned manufacturer of equipment for confectionery industry - “Maceti”. Only the equipment costs €2.3m. Italian instructors are already in Žbevac and the production manager in “Kondiva”, Snežana Arsić, believes that the production line will be installed by the end of the month and that the trial production will start at the end of March.

The factory will be producing about 900 tons of chocolate candies and other chocolate deserts per hour, which is, approximately, 2,500 tons on annual basis.
