The Association of Autonomous Trade Unions of Belgrade has proposed to the Government of Serbia to implement, as soon as possible, shortened working hours in all institutions and companies founded by the state, for the purpose of an enormous saving of energy and energy sources, along with the proposition for all private employers to also be invited to shorten their working hours by two hours at the most, Politika learns.

The request that the trade unions sent to the address of the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, but also to the mayor of Belgrade, emphasizes that the proposition should be implemented wherever possible and only under the condition that the employees’ monthly salaries are not cut.
