Components from Obrenovac for the new plant "Apple" - "IVA 28" export X-sliders

World IT leader, the company "Apple", is building a new factory for the production of I-Pad I-Phone devices. This is one of the largest investment in the world in IT technology. Only the first phase of the "Apple" is a concern with MAG, (factory in Mosbach, Germany) arranged 100 special high-precision machining centers. The second stage envisages the delivery of another 300 machines.
Machining centers for these important components come from Serbia. Belgrade-based "IVA 28 " from its plant in Obrenovac delivers X-class sliders of the high accuracy.
Bojan Erčević, director of the "IVA 28", explains that the facility in Obrenovac regularly supplied the vital components for the four factories in the MAG group but this is a project that is for the concern itself of the great importance.
-We delivered a set of precision tools for precision machine device - setting during installation. In fact we are absolutely the only supplier. Now we enter into production after the X-slider successfully delivered a series of zero and 50% of the rest 50% do large German firm Kaysser. Buyer shares amounts to 2-3 suppliers for strategic reasons. As said Erčević, among suppliers there are no other companies, apart from their company, or any manufacturer who is not from Germany or from the composition of MAG Group.
- Delivery and installation must be completed by mid-April, at the beginning there will be mounted at first one and later on two work centers daily. Our components go directly to the assembly line. It was offered to us, even we were under pressure to take some positions for this project, but we, unfortunately, because of limited capacity and very tight deadlines, had to turn down.
Bojan Erčević says that there is a possibility that the second phase, planned for late 2011. and the beginning of 2012, will increase the existing capacity in Obrenovac.
