Telekom Slovenia has decided to start liquidating the companies it owns - the Serbian company Pogodak in Belgrade and the Croatian search engine Pogodak Trazilica.
Telekom Slovenia, owned by the state of Slovenia, also announced on the portal of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange that it's telecommunication company Najdi, as the sole shareholder of the Croatian search engine Pogodak Trazilica and Belgrade-based Pogodak, had made the decision at the shareholders' assembly to start the procedure of liquidation of aforementioned companies.
Therefore, these two companies are now called Pogodak Ltd. Belgrade in liquidation and Pogodak Trazilica Ltd. in liquidation.
By the way, Telekom Slovenia decided in mid-2010 to stop "refreshing" its search engine companies as of September 2010, which in practice means that they made the decision to close their search engine companies in Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Telekom Slovenia then said that the reasons for such decision were rationalization of costs and "deepened monitoring of profitability of certain projects, that is, activities in the markets where activities are small".
It was also announced on that occasion that Telekom Slovenia would keep its stakes in aforementioned companies and that the domain registration would be extended.
