Factory of Concrete and Rebar Structures Opens in Sremska Mitrovica

A factory of the company Belt from Kraljevo, which produces concrete and rebar structures, has officially opened in Sremska Mitrovica.

There are 30 workers employed at the moment, and the owner, Tomislav Beloica, has also announced the expansion of the capacities.

The city had equipped the location on which the factory was built, the Business Zone “Jezero”, with utilities.

Thanks to the opening of this, but also numerous other factories, the unemployment rate in the city has been reduced to 3.5%, RTV reports.

– The investors choose Sremska Mitrovica precisely due to its favorable geostrategic position – pointed out the president of the City Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica, Vladimir Pavlovic.

During the opening, the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure, Tomislav Momirovic, also mentioned the big investments in the past few years, which had considerably contributed to the development of Sremska Mitrovica, and announced new investments.
