Tender for reconstruction and expansion of indoor swimming pool in Sabac by end of January - Project worth 250 million dinars

- A tender for reconstruction and expansion of the indoor swimming pool in Sabac will be announced by the end of January - said Sabac Mayor Milos Milosevic.
As he explained, the concern Farmakom MB bought the indoor swimming pool as part of Zorka's subsidiary Drustveni Standard and then donated it to the city recently.
- This swimming pool is in a bad condition and we will have it revitalized with the funds from the Republic Fund for incentives for the construction industry, that is, with a loan with a grace period of minimum one year. This year, local self-government and state will provide 10% of funds each, while the rest will be provided from the loan - said the Mayor.
The value of works on reconstruction is estimated at 250 million dinars.
- A tender for selection of the contractor will be announced by the end of month so that I expect the job to be finished by autumn in order for athletes to be able to train in their city already in winter - said Milosevic.
Voluminous works on the swimming pool, which was built in the 1980's, include repair of complete roof structure, installations, expansion of stands and a pool for non-swimmers, as well as construction of a new sunbathing area.
