Boiler Room Powered by Wood Chips and Gas to Be Built in Sjenica – Municipality Seeking Private Partner for Investment Worth RSD 235 Million

The Municipality of Sjenica has published the tender for the selection of a private partner for the construction of a central heating system with a contractual delivery of heating energy from biomass, without concession elements.

The future boiler room powered by wood chips and gas, which is meant for the supply of heating energy, is to be built on a parcel with an area of 1,164 m2, along Isa-bega Ishakovica Street.

The location features parts of the formerly planned boiler room. The new boiler room with a net area of around 298 m2 will have two boilers, for wood chips and for gas, with a capacity of 3 MW each, and the construction of wood chip storage space is planned as well.

The tender for the job worth RSD 235 million is open until November 21.
