“Energoprojekt“ builds sports center, hotel and sports courts in Igalo - €8.5m

The Sports Center in Igalo should be finished by September. The installation of the roof on the sports hall, based on new technology, the unique in our region, was underway, the manager of that center, Miloš Vukčević, stated.

Work is being carried out by Belgrade’s “Energoprojekt” and the value of the work is €8.5m. The contract with Municipality of Herceg Novi, signed at the beginning of last year, implies that “Energoprojekt” should also build a hotel with 70 beds, a restaurant, three tennis courts and three basketball courts, parking and auxiliary infrastructure in addition to the sports hall.

In exchange, “Energoprojekt” received 14,000 square meters in Herceg Novi’s housing project on Savina, and the land around the Sports Center, for the construction of apartments intended for sale. These days, the company is finishing repairs on the landslide where the construction of a suite housing project, with 108 apartments, has begun.
