Average Price of Apartments in New Buildings 11.7% Higher Than Last Year

Average price of new construction dwellings in the Republic of Serbia in the first half of 2022 amounted to RSD 200,989, presenting the increase of 11.7% relative to the first half of 2021, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Prices of dwellings in the observed period ranged from RSD 53,424 per m2 in Bujanovac to RSD 418,371 in the Belgrade municipality Savski venac.

– Observed by municipalities, the highest prices of new construction dwellings were recorded in Belgrade municipalities, where average prices in urban settlements increased by 14.8% relative to the same period last year, amounting to RSD 290,275 per m2. Beside Belgrade municipalities, high prices were also noted in Čajetina, Novi Sad, Vrnjačka Banja, Zrenjanin, as well as in Niš municipality Medijana, Pančevo, Šabac, Negotin, Užice and Čačak.


Average area of sold dwellings of new construction was 57 m2.
