RES SERBIA 2022 Conference to Be Held Tomorrow in Belgrade – How Energy Crisis Impacts RES Projects

The RES Serbia 2022 Conference will be held on Thursday, September 15, in the Ivo Andric Hall of Hotel Metropol in Belgrade. The conference is organized by the RES Serbia association with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the organization WindEurope.

The conference is to be opened by the deputy prime minister and minister of mining and energy, professor Dr Zorana Mihajlovic, and the director of the EBRD for the Western Balkans, Matteo Colangeli.

The conference begins at 9 AM with an opening ceremony, whereas the working part begins at 10 AM and will consist of five thematic panel discussions:


– The impact of the security and economic crisis on the development of RES projects (regional views);

– Market challenges, regulatory obstacles and the investment environment as key elements for the realization of wind farms and other RES projects (a word from investors and equipment producers);

– The financing of RES projects from the angle of the leading banks and bankers;

– The development, construction and operations of RES projects from the angle of environmental protection experts;

– The integration of RES into the market of electrical energy (a year later, the biggest electrical energy experts are summing up their projections from the previous conference and making new ones).

Among the panelists and moderators of the RES SERBIA 2022 Conference are the heads of the EBRD, WindEurope, Energy Community Secretariat, representatives of the most important state institutions, banks and largest world companies.
