Mihajlovic: All Local Oil and Oil Product Storage Capacities 88% Full

The total storage capacities in Serbia, which amount to 320,000 tons, are 88% full, stated the minister of mining and energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, while visiting the site of the construction of the tanks for the storage of oil and oil products in Smederevo.

– Some of the tanks that are being built here are nearly finished, two will be finished by the end of this year, another two next year, and in early 2024, they will be ready for being filled with oil products – Mihajlovic announced.

She added that the state had mandatory and operating oil and oil product reserves for over two months.

– The Energy Administration of the ministry raised the reserves by over 100% from March last year to August this year – the minister said, as announced by the ministry.
