Slovenian Petrol expects profit of 48.9 million euros in 2011

Petrol Group plans to turn 2.9 billion euros worth of net profit from the sales in 2011, 8% more than in 2010, and the overall net profit of 48.9 million euros, 4% more than in 2010, the company announced.

According to the company's statement, Petrol Group plans to earn 88.8 million euros from investments in 2011. The Group's investment policy will be focused on expansion of oil trading activities in the market of Southeast Europe and other energy activities in both Slovenia and the markets of Southeast Europe (gas, electricity, efficient use of energy, environmental projects), as well as on strengthening of the Group's position in oil trade in the Slovenian market.


Petrol Group plans to sell 2.34 million tons of oil derivatives in 2011, up to 5% more than in 2010, and 136,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas and technical gases, up to 13% more than in 2010. The revenue from the sales will amount to 437.1 million euros, which is 6% more than in 2010. Petrol Group also plans to sell 1,011,288 MWh of electricity, 207% more than in 2010, and 76,630 MWh of heating energy, 21% more than in 2010.

Members of Petrol Group in Serbia are Petrol Belgrade, Petrol Gas Group Novi Sad and Rodgas AD Backa Topola.
